Police arrest two men carrying 67 packets containing synthetic cannabis

The men were spotted during a routine police patrol in Marsa

The police arrested two men in Marsa after they were found carrying 67 packets of synthetic cannabis between them.

The men - Somali nationals living in Marsa and San Ġwann - were spotted by officers during a routine patrol in Marsa on Monday at around 11am.

They were stopped on Triq Il-Marsa. The officers found 60 packets during a search of one man and seven packets on the other man. They were also carrying cash on them.

They were arrested, and police investigations are ongoing.
