Police searching for thieves involved in Floriana jewellers robbery

Thieves walked in to the shop unarmed with their faces uncovered

Police are searching for thieves involved in a brazen jewellery shop robbery which occurred in Floriana on Thursday afternoon. 

A spokesperson for the police confirmed the robbery took place at 5 pm at Victor Azzopardi Jewellers in Triq Sant' Anna.

The suspects allegedly walked into the shop unarmed and with their faces uncovered. 

Police are determining what was stolen and how many people were involved in the robbery.

No injuries were reported, and as of Friday afternoon, police were still searching for the suspects. 

The shop remained shuttered on Friday.
