Over 1,000 pirated CDs were seized by the police Economic Crimes Unit during a raid at the Valletta flea market yesterday morning.

The police said a number of people were assisting them in the investigations.

The last time a large number of pirated CDs was seized was last November when 3,460 pirated DVDs, Playstation games and music CDs were confiscated in a number of raids in various localities.
