Police week celebrations on the occasion of the corps' 191st anniversary continue today with an open day at the Qawra police station.
At 8.30 p.m., there will be a show by the Precision Drill Team and the Dogs Section at Bugibba Square where the Police Band will also be playing.
Mass in remembrance of deceased officers will be said at the chapel of the Addolorata Cemetery followed by a wreath-laying ceremony tomorrow at 9 a.m.
There will be an open day at the Sliema police station on Monday, at the Balzan station on Tuesday, at the Cospicua station on Wednesday, at the Zabbar Station on Saturday, at the police headquarters in Floriana on July 10, at the Naxxar station on July 11 and at the Victoria police station on July 13.
The show by the Precision Drill Team and the Dogs Section with the participation of the Police Band will also be held in Sliema on Monday, in Balzan on Tuesday, in Cospicua on Wednesday, in Marsascala on Saturday, in Zurrieq on July 10 and in Marsalforn on July 13.
All shows in Malta will be at 8.30 p.m., that in Gozo at 8 p.m.
An exhibition of crafts by members of the corps will be opened at St James Cavalier on Monday at 10 a.m.
A pontifical Mass will be said at the police headquarters on July 12 at 8.45 p.m. followed by a parade and a guard of honour at 10 a.m.
Mass for Gozitan officers and pensioners will be said at the Santa Maria Cemetery chapel in Gozo. This will be followed by a wreath-laying ceremony.
