This year’s Poppy Day collection by the Poppy Appeal Fund is being held until November 25.

The aim of this fund-raising activity is to help all ex-servicemen and their families. Last year, €21,000 were collected but the fund issued over €60,000 in assistance, the balance being supplied from other Services Benevolent Funds in the UK.
