The Malta FA yesterday announced the new dates for the two Premier League matches which were postponed on December 13 due to a waterlogged pitch at the National Stadium.

The matches Marsaxlokk vs Valletta and Sliema Wanderers vs Birkirkara will now be played on Tuesday, January 3 at the National Stadium with kick-off times set for 6 and 8 p.m. respectively.

No Premier League matches are scheduled for this weekend as the championship takes a break for the Christmas festivities. Four top-flight clubs, however, will again be in action next week when the Quadrangular Tournament is played.

The first semi-final, on Monday, sees Valletta taking on Birkirkara at the Centenary Stadium. Sliema play Hibernians at the same venue on Tuesday.

The final is scheduled for Friday, December 30 at the National Stadium. All matches kick off at 7.30 p.m.
