Public Works Department employees carrying out construction work in Triq Saver Zarb, San Gwann yesterday accidentally damaged two underground power cables, leaving parts of San Gwann industrial estate and Kappara without power.

Enemalta Corporation restored the supply to most of the area by 10 a.m. and to the other localities later in the day.
