A private contractor carrying out trenching works in Triq Wied Iz-Ziju, Marsascala damaged an underground power cable yesterday morning, causing the electricity supply to be interrupted in parts of Marsascala and Zejtun, Enemalta said.

Power was restored in all areas by 11.45 a.m.
