Powerhouse of a show

I would like to share with readers an evening my friend and I spent at Valletta.

Quite by accident we fell on the Powerhouse Theatre walking along the waterfront. We heard music and saw big banners of the Knights Spectacular show. We peeped in and were greeted with a smile.

The person who greeted us was very polite. She showed us around a bit and we got a glimpse of some of the actors in costumes, horses with embroidered saddles and the gorgeous Marie, a beautiful Falcon in her head-dress with tiny feathers. It was well worth what we paid to watch the show. It is right up there with the best of Broadway and the West End. We could not believe the high standard of everything from the costumes to the original music.

After the show we got to meet the great man himself, the Grand Master La Valette clad in amazing armour that must have weighed a ton.

A big well done to all those involved. Break a leg and keep up the good work, and hope that in the future we will have shows up to these standards.
