Record 19,300 people pre-register for Pitbull concert ticket sales
Fans who secured pre-registration will access tickets at 9am on Friday
A record 19,300 people have signed up to get early access to tickets for US rapper Pitbull's concert this summer, organisers have said.
The Grammy-award winning performer will take to the stage in Ta' Qali on August 2.
When the show was announced on Tuesday, fans were given the opportunity to pre-register to gain early access to tickets when they go on sale on Friday.
Organisers said 19,300 people had done so - compared to 7,500 people who pre-registered for Ed Sheeran's concert in 2024.
Fans who successfully registered will gain early access to tickets on Friday at 9 am. General ticket sales will open later the same day at 11am.
The artist, also known as Mr Worldwide, will be joined by special guest Lil Jon for the highly anticipated event organised by greatt and NnG Promotions.
They said the strong response during the pre-registration phase signals significant excitement among local and international fans.
Pitbull’s Malta performance forms part of his I’m Back! tour across the United States and Europe. The Malta show will follow concerts in Poland and the Czech Republic as the global hitmaker continues his international run of live performances.
Known for chart-topping hits and high-energy stage productions, Pitbull’s return to Europe is expected to draw large crowds, with organisers urging fans to secure their tickets promptly once sales open.
