President Guido de Marco will be leaving Malta this morning for Spain where he will be attending the state funeral of the victims of the March 11 terrorist attacks in Madrid.

The President will be joining several other heads of state and dignitaries in paying tribute, on behalf of the government of Malta and its people, to the victims of the terrorist attacks.

Prof. de Marco returns to Malta this evening.
