President Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca is in Germany for a meeting of the Arraiolos Group  at the invitation of President Joachim Gauck.

The group is made up of the non-executive presidents of 12 EU countries. It is named after the Portuguese town of Arraiolos where the first meeting took place in 2003.

The meeting is expected to discuss current developments in Europe.
