The following are the top stories in the Maltese press.

Times of Malta says the EU is seeking a social media ban for children under 16. It also says Michael Falzon has up to the end of this legislature to go back to Bank of Valletta.

The Malta Independent quotes Bank of Valletta chairman John Cassar White saying the agreement with Michael Falzon was tailor made. 

In-Nazzjon says young people are angry because they were deceived by the government about the so called American University of Malta.

l-orizzont says fewer people are using the monte di Pieta to capitalise their jewellery.
