Prime Minister Joseph Muscat will address Henley and Partners’ 12th annual conference in Dubai – but he has lost top billing to Sophia, the world’s first-ever citizen-robot.

The event will take place in Dubai from November 4 to 6. Over 400 delegates from more than 40 different countries are expected to attend.

Malta’s Individual Investor Programme was ranked as the world’s top citizenship-by-investment programme and the Austria Private Residence Programme the world’s top residence-by-investment program, according to a report released on Tuesday by residence and citizenship advisory firm Henley & Partners.

For the fourth consecutive year, the IIP topped the list with a score of 79 out of 100, followed by Cyprus in second place (with a score of 72) and Austria in 3rd  (with a score of 70).

Henley holds the concession for the Maltese IIP scheme.
