Professional surfer and wildlife photographer are not jobs you would normally associate with royalty but for Prince Harry they are his dream occupations.

Prince Harry, 25, said he would love the jobs during a confidence-building exercise with a group of HIV positive youngsters in Lesotho, southern Africa.

Prince Harry, a trainee Apache helicopter pilot, also said he wanted to live in Africa - a continent where he spends so much time he joked earlier this week it was causing his father, the Prince of Wales, concern.

Prince Harry's dreams came to light when he and his older brother, Prince William, were asked to lie on two large pieces of white paper while children from a peer support group for teenagers with HIV drew around their outline.

The Mamohato Network Club allows the youngsters to support each other and relax and make friends without being stigmatised for their HIV positive status.

It is run and supported by Sentebale, a charity founded by Prince Harry to help disadvantaged children in Lesotho.

The event took place in the grounds of the Lesotho King's Palace and, when the two British princes were asked to write their hopes and dreams near the top of the outlines, Prince Harry wrote "professional surfer, wildlife photographer, and helicopter pilot". The words "live in Africa" were underlined and followed by an exclamation mark.

Prince William, 27, training to become an RAF Search and Rescue Force helicopter pilot, just wrote "successful pilot".

The princes were asked to put down their support network and Prince Harry added "family, friends, brother, Seeiso", and William "friends/family".

Attributes were added inside the outline with Prince Harry writing "ginger" and his older brother "happy, lucky, strong, caring".

Prince Harry could not resist adding his own comment to Prince William's outline - "loser".
