The Malta Tourism Authority's posters being used in its advertising campaign in Italy have won the Premio Agora for "best poster campaign in the tourism section".

The Premio Agora, which has been in existence for the past 17 years, is the most prestigious award in the advertising field in Italy, the MTA said.

The campaign this year highlighted cultural heritage and Malta's accession to the European Union. Two posters, one showing the Valletta skyline and the other showing the Mnajdra temples superimposed with a dancer bearing the Maltese Cross, were used in Rome, Milan, Naples and Bologna.
