A Kappara man was yesterday put on probation for two years and fined Lm250 for replacing the licence plate of a car with that of another. Clint Joseph Whitelaw, 24, pleaded guilty to changing the licence plates, driving a car without a licence and insurance cover and forgery on and before July 9.

Police Inspector Mario Bonnici prosecuted.
