I can never understand why we Maltese always have to put up with such a bad service. I had to change my number plate as it got damaged. I went to the Malta Transport Authority's (ADT) office and was told to wait in the queue. I asked a person how long had he been there and he said three hours!

If I am not mistaken this same authority is taking care of our transport; now if they cannot even solve this problem by maybe employing more staff how can they be entrusted with running our traffic system? Look at the Marsa bus lane; they said it's not causing traffic jams. It was removed the other day and, wonder of wonders, there are now no traffic jams.

Well it took them a year to realise that the lights near the university were causing delays...

Case number 2. The staff serving customers at the Zebbug post office has been reduced from three to one person. The number of services provided have been increased tenfold. So any one who wants to buy a couple of hundred stamps has to wait behind people complaining about their phone bill etc. This is at least an hour's wait.

I have been to this post office every day but had to leave as I cannot waste an hour to buy stamps. Phone calls to customer care are not answered. Does a person require a university degree in management to realise that if you increase services you need more staff?
