A number of articles featuring the Maltese islands were recently carried by a number of popular magazines and newspapers in France and Belgium.

French magazine Oh La! devoted six full-colour pages to models wearing clothes by designers such as Giorgio Armani, Christian Dior and Lacroix, with Gozo as a magnificent backdrop.

Voyage & Medecine French travel magazine, which targets the medical profession, carried a feature outlining Malta, Gozo and Comino's beauty and history.

Finally, Belgian magazine Jetair featured an article on Malta's gastronomy, sports and traditions. It also devoted two pages to traditional Maltese recipes.

These Malta features are a result of the Malta Tourism Authority's intensive public relations programme. Every year, the MTA hosts some 700 media representatives from Malta's principal tourism source markets.
