Various Dutch publications have given publicity to Malta as a tourist destination, following a promotional campaign organised by the Malta Tourism Authority's Amsterdam office.

BG magazin ran a double page spread featuring Malta in its travel section.

The Dutch sport and recreation newspaper Rondom Sport also carried an article about Malta and AllerHande published an article entitled The Maltese Potato Valley, dealing with the exportation of potatoes to Holland. The three-page full colour feature also mentioned Malta's imminent entry into the EU.

The Dutch magazine dedicated an additional three pages to recipes which feature potatoes as the main ingredient.
