LPG cylinders are owned by whoever first places them on the market and holds their conformity certificates, regulations issued today lay down.

Providers have been given seven days within which to return cylinders collected from customers to their owner.

The regulations were issued amid an ongoing dispute between Liquigas and Easygas, with the former accusing the latter of having collected its cylinders from clients and hoarded them instead of returning them to Liquigas.
