Transport Minister Censu Galea said in reply to a parliamentary question yesterday that he "had been informed" that talks were being held between the Transport Authority and the Public Transport Association on a reform of public transport. He said the talks involved suggestions by local councils on routes in their localities, changes to existing bus routes and the possible introduction of new routes and the possibility of creating hubs beyond the current once.

The minister was replying to a parliamentary question by Dr Jason Azzopardi (PN).
