Pulse is a university-based student organisation which serves as a support group for students both in post-secondary and tertiary institutions.

Pulse is active in policy planning on behalf of students, a leader in student-services and as a student representative on Faculty Boards and students' councils.

The organisation's energies are geared towards implementing a social policy intended to level social gaps, achieve social justice and help other minority groups to maintain their dignity and freedom in living a free life. Pulse is committed to securing cultural and racial variances while conserving a resolute existence based on fundamental human rights. Regular activities such as music festivals and fairs are organised to promote a more enjoyable campus-life. Pulse is therefore a healthy organisation which blends activities, fun and above all promotes fair representation and support for students.

Pulse has been involved in a number of international projects related to the EuroMed Youth Programme. A project hosted by Pulse, Contact 2002, won the Best EuroMed Project organised in Malta between 2001 and 2003 and was nominated as one of the top four projects from the whole EuroMed region.
