Thousands are expected to show up for the 15th edition of the annual Good Friday Night Walk this year from Mellieħa to Senglea, with proceeds going towards Puttinu Cares.

The event will see participants gather at 12.30am - earlier than previous years - at Mellieħa parish square, rather than the Sanctuary of Our Lady. From there, the group will make its way across Malta to reach the Three Cities.

Participants can show up without registering, though a €10 donation will be solicited of every walker, with all proceeds going to Puttinu Cares.

Transport will start taking participants to Mellieħa from Senglea from 10pm onwards, with transport also available to return participants to Mellieħa once the walk is over.

To book a seat on one of the transport buses, call 9999 1800 or send a message  to the Mixja Gimgħa l-Kbira 2018 on Facebook.
