The community radio station Lehen il-Qala 106.3 FM has launched a new schedule on the occasion of the feast of St Joseph, which is being celebrated in Qala in a few weeks' time.

For the first time, transmissions are being made with the collaboration of Radio Prekursur, Christian Light Radio and Sydney One Radio (in Australia).

The programmes will cover culture, drama, music, sports and education, and include quizzes and shows for children. A direct broadcast with the Australian Qala Association, in Melbourne, will also be made on the eve of the feast.

Apart from the live shows which are transmitted till midnight, recorded programmes will be aired throughout the night.
