A 45-year old man from Qrendi was injured in a traffic accident in Tarxien yesterday afternoon. A police report said he was in a critical condition.

Police said the accident took place at 3.30 p.m. when the man, who was driving a Suzuki 250 motorbike in the direction of Gudja, somehow lost control of his machine.
