Sea Malta was awarded its certificate of registration in recognition of its compliance with the new quality management system, the BS EN ISO 9001:2000 standard.

The standard, which encompasses a wide range of management areas, emphasises the promotion of customer-care initiatives.

Sea Malta obtained its ISO certification in 1998 and was one of the first companies in Malta to have adopted this management system for a comprehensive range of maritime related services.
