Bank of Valletta and HSBC Bank Malta have announced a groundbreaking agreement under which BOV's Cashlink Card holders and HSBC's Quikcash Card holders may now also start using the ATM network of the other bank for cash withdrawals.

This means that customers of both banks who use locally issued debit cards will now have access to over 120 ATMs spread across Malta and Gozo.

In a joint statement, BOV and HSBC said that with the ever increasing use of electronic banking and the push to encourage customers to utilise ATMs for their cash requirements, this arrangement between the two main banks in Malta will effectively double the number of such cash points available in Malta and Gozo which bank clients can use.
