A delegation from Rabat council comprising the mayor, two councillors, the deputy executive secretary, representatives from the two local bands as well as the archpriest, together with a group of 82 residents have left Malta for Tarquinia in Italy.

A twinning agreement with this Etruscan city is to be signed on Friday.

The visit was subsidised by the council of Tarquinia through funds allocated by the EU for town-twinning.
