Radio campaign for needy families

RTK Radio has launched its annual fund-raising campaign in aid of needy families in conjunction with the church's central office for children's homes and refugees.

Last year the campaign raised Lm34,000. A percentage of the sum was given to the Dar tal-Kleru, but the bulk of the money was given to the central office's administration to be used to help preventive cases by assisting with parental skills. Other money was used to help the refugees.

This year's money will be shared the same way.

The campaign will reach its climax on December 21 when RTK will organise a party for children in church homes on one of Gozo Channel's vessels, which will be berthed at Sa Maison.

Money may be deposited in the banks, or sent directly to RTK. Donations may also be made between December 18 and 22 via special telephone lines.
