Kimi Raikkonen will make his Ferrari debut in a test at Italy's Vallelunga circuit today, the Formula One team said.

Raikkonen has yet to do any laps for his new team since leaving Mercedes-powered McLaren at the end of last year to replace Ferrari's retired seven-times world champion Michael Schumacher.

A Ferrari spokesman said the 27-year-old Finn would drive last year's 248F1 car in a scheduled three-day test at the circuit near Rome while Brazilian team-mate Felipe Massa tested the new F2007.

Ferrari have been forced to abandon plans to test at Mugello, much closer to their Maranello factory, because of predicted bad weather.
