I believe I have the perfect solution to the opera house dilemma. The answer has been staring us in the face and I am amazed that no-one thought of it sooner. All we have to do is turn the site into a multi-storey car park. We already have the ground floor operational; all we have to do is pile on some more floors and there you have it!
The advantages are manifold and I will name just a few. It will cost much less than Lm18 million. It will pay for itself in no time, Knowing how difficult it is to find a parking space in our capital city, the place already has a large clientele. Perhaps we could build a heliport on the roof. That way the profits would really go sky-high!
And last but not least, since any architect is able to design a car park, we wouldn't have to commission a world-renowned architect and pay him an astronomical fee. I would go on indefinitely but my tongue and cheek are starting to hurt.
