I refer to the MUT's withdrawal from the CMTU.

It would be interesting to learn how many members on the council of the Malta Union of Teachers were council members during the 1970s and early 1980s when so many teachers and the MUT itself were the direct targets of shameful attacks by the General Workers' Union.

It is very surprising that such recent history is so easily forgotten.
