The Malta Red Cross Society is launching an appeal for various items to enable it to continue assisting refugees in Malta.

It urgently requires blankets, winter jackets, shoes and boots, toiletries and pharmaceuticals.

The society also welcomes donations to the following accounts: Bank of Valletta a/c 10214861012 and HSBC Bank a/c 33143371050.

One can also donate Lm1 by sending an SMS on 617517. Cheques should be addressed to the Malta Red Cross Society, 104, St Ursula Street, Valletta, VLT 05.
