Steven Busuttil has been appointed to referee for a second time in Italy, a Serie C match in Rome next weekend.

This appointment follows Busuttil's first ever game in the Italian rugby scene after the U-19 National League match between champions Colorno and Rugby Lazio on February 9. The match was won by Rugby Lazio after a hard-fought encounter.

Busuttil will now officiate a top-of-the-table Serie C derby between Rugby Roma 2000 and All Reds Rugby Roma.

Roma 2000 are currently leading the standings and All Reds are lying third in the league. The eventual winner of this championship will be promoted to Serie B at the end of the season.

While in Rome, Busuttil will also attend the Regione Lazio weekly meeting where all referees from the area (around 45 ranging from regional to internationals officials) discuss their experiences over the previous week and also anything that happened recently on the international stage, including the Six Nations competition.
