Enemalta Corporation is extending its refund scheme on domestic electricity application fees to three-phase electricity installations in an effort to promote the use of solar water heaters.

This means that those who apply for a three-phase electricity service and install a solar water heater may apply for a refund of Lm70 just like those who apply for a single-phase electricity service and install a solar water heater.

The refund only applies in respect of new electricity applications. Those who wish to apply for a refund of Lm70 on their electricity installation fee are required to install a solar water heater and apply for the refund within three months from their application for a new electricity service.
