Requiem by Fauré at St John's concert

The Metropolitan Cathedral Chapter in conjunction with St John's Co-Cathedral Foundation and the Music Studies Programme of the University of Malta will be presenting a special Easter concert on March 22 at St John's Co-Cathedral, in Valletta at 7.30 p.m.

The Collegium Musicum will sing Gabriel Fauré's Requiem and will be accompanied on the organ by Romina Morrow. Annmarie Camilleri Podestà will play the harp and Sarah Spiteri the violin solo.

The university students from the Music Studies Programme of the University of Malta who will sing Antonin Tucapsky's Stabat Mater will be accompanied on the organ by Sharon Gauci.

The Collegium Musicum will also be participating in the Holy Week celebrations which will be held the following week at St John's Co-Cathedral.

The entrance to the concert at St John's is free.
