Reserved parking

I cannot but fully agree with Franco Farrugia regarding parking problems for Guarda-mangia/Pietà residents even late in the evening.

While visiting the trade fair in Naxxar last week I noticed that even residents of streets in the vicinity of the fair grounds enjoy reserved parking.

I do not know the reason behind this but if this is due to the fair should we residents of Pietà and Guardamangia not enjoy reserved parking all the year round?
