This May, Malta’s fine dining scene will reach a defining moment as Risette at Casa Ellul, Valletta, hosts an exceptional Four Hands Dinner in collaboration with internationally celebrated three-starred Michelin legacy chef Pascal Barbot of Astrance Paris.
Taking place across two exclusive evenings on May 22, 23 2026, the event will unite Barbot with Risette’s executive chef Steve Scicluna for what is set to become one of the most important gastronomic collaborations ever hosted in Malta.
For Steve Scicluna, whose culinary work at Risette has steadily positioned the restaurant among Malta’s most exciting contemporary dining destinations, the collaboration represents both a professional milestone and a statement about the direction of Maltese gastronomy. Known for his refined yet expressive approach to Mediterranean cuisine, Scicluna has built Risette around a philosophy that values precision, seasonality, and deep respect for local ingredients; principles closely aligned with Barbot’s own globally recognised culinary identity.
Pascal Barbot remains one of the most influential figures in modern European gastronomy.
