Rock band Scorpions to perform in Malta
German hard rock band to play at MFCC, Ta' Qali on June 16
Legendary rock band Scorpions will be performing in Malta on June 16, as the German outfit celebrates five decades on the circuit.
The band will be performing at MFCC, Ta' Qali, in what promises to be one of the biggest rock concerts of the year.
Scorpions have defined generations of rock fans across the world.
From arena-shaking anthems to timeless power ballads, their catalogue includes classics such as Wind of Change, Rock You Like a Hurricane, Still Loving You, No One Like You, and Send Me an Angel.
Their live performances are celebrated worldwide for their powerful sound, commanding stage presence, and connection with audiences.
Having sold over 100 million records and performed in some of the most prestigious venues, Scorpions remain one of the most influential and enduring bands in rock history.
The Scorpions are a legendary German hard rock band formed in Hanover in 1965 by guitarist Rudolf Schenker. Their classic lineup from 1978 to 1992, featuring Schenker on rhythm guitar, Klaus Meine on vocals, Matthias Jabs on lead guitar, Francis Buchholz on bass, and Herman Rarebell on drums, propelled them to global fame with a blend of hard rock and heavy metal.
Still active into the 2020s with Schenker and Meine as constants, they've released recent albums like Rock Believer (2022).
The MFCC will transform into a full-scale rock arena promising fans an electrifying production featuring world-class sound and dynamic visuals.
Tickets, ranging from €75 to €120 go on sale on Wednesday (today) at 11am.
