Ronaldo still has Inter at heart

New Inter signing Santiago Solari says that his former Real Madrid team-mate Ronaldo is still dreaming of a return to San Siro one day.

Solari has signed a three-year deal at Inter after leaving Real, and says that Ronaldo is still keen to return to his former club in the Italian league.

Solari said: "I've spoken with him when I was asking for information about Inter. He said to me 'Santiago, you are okay, it's a good environment, you will feel really good'.

"And he also told me one of his plans, a dream, and that was to come back to Inter.

"He's really keen on it."

Ronaldo has spoken of his fondness for Inter before, but any move seems to be a non-starter due to the way he departed in the first place.

Both Inter supremo Massimo Moratti and a majority of the Inter fans are still disappointed with Ronaldo leaving and would not welcome him back easily.
