Over the years, as we deal with more cases, we come up against various offers made by suppliers, supposedly as a goodwill gesture, in an attempt to pacify a dissatisfied customer/complainant. However, in some cases customers actually see them as "rubbing salt into the wound" - indeed adding insult to injury.

Air Malta often makes such offers. Despite the fact that the relevant customers are expressing dissatisfaction with its service, Air Malta condescendingly offers complainants a discount on some more Air Malta service which the respective complainants are complaining about.
