Ruben Zahra celebrates 32 years of chamber music

‘Rhythms of Vision’ showcases how the composer’s style has evolved over the years

A new programme at the Malta Society of Arts organised by the National Agency for the Performing Arts is shining a spotlight on 32 years of chamber music by composer Ruben Zahra, tracing the evolution of a distinctive and adventurous musical voice.

Rhythms of Vision on February 22 spans works from 1992 to 2024, showcasing how Zahra’s style has developed from early modernist experiments to immersive, multimedia compositions.
