Veniamin F. Yakovlev, chairman of the Supreme Arbitration Court of the Russian Federation, will be paying an official visit to Malta on Wednesday and Thursday as guest of the Chief Justice.

During his visit, Mr Yakovlev will be having talks with members of the judiciary, the board of governors of the Malta Arbitration Centre and with members of the Faculty of Law at the University of Malta on various aspects of the judicial and extra-judicial methods of the settling of economic disputes.

Mr Yakovlev will also be meeting the parliamentary secretary at the Ministry of Justice and Home Affairs, Carmelo Mifsud Bonnici.
