Rusty baggage trolleys

It is a shame for Malta that while it is trying to promote tourism, tourists arriving at the airport have to carry their luggage in rusty and badly maintained baggage trolleys.

When I brought the matter to the attention of Malta International Airport their response was that they do their best to maintain them but the trolleys are in the current state because of inclement weather. This is the same MIA which had just announced such high profits.

MIA are therefore admitting that they do not have enough personnel (which we know they do) to bring the trolleys inside when passengers take their baggage out to their cars or coaches. In my opinion it is a question of irresponsibility.
