Safe environment

With reference to Rita Agius' letter (November 20), we would first like to reassure her and all visitors at Bay Street that creating a safe environment for all is a priority for Bay Street's management. Our highly trained security staff are well briefed to ensure that the balance we work to create, is achieved. In creating a destination for all, we have been faced with various challenges but we have never compromised on safety.

We sincerely appreciate Mrs Agius's concerns and would like to inform her we will be advising all patrons visiting Bay Street with their motorbikes to switch off their engines prior to entering the complex. This will help to ensure that motorbikes will not cause any hazards to our esteemed customers and their families.
