The Helping Hands Foundation has presented a cheque for Lm5,000 to the Park of Friendship thanks to proceeds from the sale of a booklet.
For the past few weeks, members of The Helping Hands Foundation team have been out and about promoting a recently published booklet to the public about the sterling work carried out by the Park.
The booklet contains interesting facts, recipes, games and vouchers.
The initiative came about following an agreement between Rhino Power Co Ltd and the Park with the aim of raising money for the charitable organisation.
This week, the team from Helping Hands Foundation paid a visit to the Park to donate the first amount collected.
"The Park of Friendship has been offering services to people with disability free of charge for the past 15 years now, however we still find various people who are unaware of the range of services we offer," chief executive Nathan Farrugia said.
