Salesian Brigade recently ended its centenary celebrations with a show at the Salesian Theatre, Sliema.

The Brigade Band, under the direction of drum major Leonard Falzon, performed a static tattoo with popular Beatles numbers, together with Italian and Maltese songs.

The Salesian Brigade Corp of Drums is made up of drums, bugles, fifes and percussion.

The Juniors Section performed a traditional Swedish drill exercise while the company section performed two modern dances.

Joe Camilleri gave a poetry reading and Mitt Sena ta’ Storja Glorjuza, a video feature produced by Boscocrew, was also shown.

At the end of the show, speeches were given by commanding officer Joe Giorgio, chaplain Fr Eric Cachia, rector Fr Paul Formosa and Culture Minister Francis Zammit Dimech.
