San Ġwann social housing blocks being refurbished

The works cost just over €1m

Three social housing blocks at Taż-Żwejt, San Ġwann, are being rehabilitated, with a total outlay in excess of €1m, the Housing Ministry said on Monday.

The project is being carried out by the Housing Authority and Housing Projects Solutions Limited. Works are being carried out on the roofs, apertures, common areas and roofs.

The blocks have a total of 130 apartments.

Housing Minister Roderick Galdes said the works are aimed at improving the environment for the residents. He said similar works are also in hand or planned in other social housing blocks across Malta and Gozo.
