San Lawrenz and St Venera co-operation agreement

A co-operation agreement between St Venera and San Lawrenz was endorsed last Monday.

The agreement was signed by Michael Caruana and Noel Formosa, mayors of St Venera and San Lawrenz respectively, and executive secretaries Joseph Cassar and Lucienne Haber.

The aim of the agreement was to develop and enhance co-operation between both localities by organising visits to Malta and Gozo with various activities and initiatives including seminars and conferences.

Cultural, educational, sport and philanthropic intiatives will also be held for families, children, youths and the elderly.

The local council also aims to enhance co-operation between the parishes, groups and schools, with the organisation of various visits and activities which will not benefit the members but also to the community.
